Our product selection includes wide range of different sprockets and accessories for chain drives. Our own machining shop does the required threads and holes, key grooves and set screws.
The life time of a chain drive can be improved with a right selection of a sprocket. The number of teeth on a sprocket affects the durability of the chain. In dynamic chain drives (chain speed up to 24 m/s) the number of teeth should be minimum of 17. In slower chain drives (chain speed up to 4 m/s) should not be used less than 11…13 teeth. Higher chain speeds and bearing pressures require bigger number of teeth.
